Hi everyone!
I was thinking on buying a 8 CSM noise marines bos, but I wanted to know wich contents are into it. This is because I wanted to create a 6 noise marines squad, one of them with sonic amplifier (well spelled?) and the other ones with sonic destroyer (?), so, 5 noise destroyers.
But I don't know how much stuff comes in? Does anyone know?
Thank you very much!

The eye of terror.

I believe the box only comes with one blast master (more powerful gun) and 2 sonic blasters (less powerful guns). Then GW sells an expensive upgrade kit that you'd need to give the rest of the unit sonic weaponry.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

Well, I'm not sure what you mean by sonic amplifier or sonic destroyer, but here's the contents:

It's got enough normal Chaos Marine parts to make eight marines, including the sergeant, who has a unique metal torso, sword, and backpack(which is actually his Doom Siren). The box comes with a few Noise Marine heads, none of which I used seeing as a few of them look like ducks, to me, and it also comes with one Blastmaster and one Sonic Blaster. (The Blastmaster being the big honking long noise cannon, and the sonic blaster being the smaller but bulkier one). If you want more Noise Marine weapons, the GW site still sells the bitz pack, I think.

Hope this helped!

That box is really nothing special. I bought one but you get only 1 "real" sonic blaster a 1 blastmaster and little different backpack ( doom siren ).
If you can get some bitz you can easily convert these weapons, Iam using Orks Big Shoota ( that one handed ) as blastmaster ( with propriete colour ) and his second hand is tentacle and it works fine.
If you will buy a normal marines and convert them, you will have spare special weapons which is fine

Yes, I've seen Games Workshop's webpage and I'm thinking on buying the box and the bitz upgrade too. It's expensive (about 45 euros) but I love sonic, slaaneshi stuff and I can't resist

Shelegelah has the box contents right, I think, although *I* like the speaker grill face and tongue face metal heads. I think there are only supposed to be three metal total per box, although for some reason I have three tongue heads even though I only bought two boxes a few years ago.

It's a very obnoxious situation because if you want a full squad using the metal sonic blasters, you pretty much have to buy the sonic weapons bitz pack. And if you buy the Noise Marines box and the bitz pack, then you're stuck with an extra blast master.

There's a Khorne Berzerker helmet that, when the bunny ears are clipped off, make a very good Noise Marine or Raptor head.

The sink.

The box only comes with 1 sonic weapon and 1 blast master. You need to buy the sonic weapons bitz pack to have enough for a squad. You're actually better off buying that and a box of CSM - it's cheaper.

Huh, that's odd... I only got two unique heads: The speaker-grille face, which I think looks like a malformed duck (Quack.), and the sarge's ponytail head. Guess you got my extra head, huh?

Not meaning to resurrect this, but it is ultimately my question and wanted to re-clarify being 3 years old now.

I plan to field 10 noise marines, with the amended FAQ to the 5 squad rule (one masterblaster is now viable under 10 troops - I was told by GW staff member) then ontop of this, a second Masterblaster can be given if more than 10 troops are fielded.

I will have to purchased two boxes of these bitz to field a 10 man squad with 2 Masterblasters and 7 Sonic Blasters?

Oh jeez, the bitz are going to end up costing more than the CSM overall if I move towards 20 noise marines in the future!
