Hello all.

My name is Ben and I live in Birmingham, in the UK. I started gaming when I was 11 (back in 1995), playing Warhammer 40K 2nd Edition. I played most of the GW games between then and 2002 when I went away to University and had far too much to do.

Around three years ago I got back into the hobby, though not in any serious way until a year ago when a group of old University friends also joined me. Now we all play on a regular basis, I am a regular face at the local GW store and have started attending a local gaming group.

As for models I have around 3000 points of Chaos, 3000 points of Space Wolves (though I have not bought any of the new models, that is something I plan to get around to eventually) and I have around 1000pts of new Orks painted (I have large numbers of 2nd Edition and Gorkamorka Orks, but I don't particularly like them) which are a bit all over the place, but will soon be joined by plenty more boyz and Fast Attack options.

The reason I joined this forum is because our friends and I are working on a Gargant, which will stand at around a foot and a half tall and a foot in diameter, based around an old plant pot which we aquired. We've been using the gargant building on this forum for inspiration in the project and so I thought I'd try to start a log of our work, maybe get some advice from some of the more seasoned hobbyists in your ranks

Thanks all for the greetings, it's good to be here and I have already found so many interesting threads.

We're waiting on one of the guys getting back from Lanzarote (the lucky git) aznd then we'll be getting back to work on the Gargant, whereupon pictures will appear.
