I need some help(don't we all!)
I got a drop pod as a present and I bought another two yesterday(well, you don't want them to be lonely).
Here's the dilemma: I've got three marine armies, who gets them? I've got my chapter, then there's the space wolves and currently painting up my Dark Angels.
My plan was to give them one each, now I'm not so sure that's the way to go...any suggestions?

Ummm...somewhere...

Why Don't you just give all 3 to one army and make that army specialize in drop podding, your vanilla marine army would be best

~Pre-heresy Luna Wolves- WIP! (Probably gonna be a while)
~Recently sold sisters, GW ruined them for me their burning of xeno's will be remembered! (Friend bought them back for me, making them work, statement so far half stands after a lesson learnt)
~ SKAVEN - 1000 points and growing, just have assassinate a few warlords to get my way...need more cheese...

What's the army composition look like for each? Space Wolves benefit least from it, since only 10 men can fit in their drop pods, which means no Wolf Guard pack leader, unless you want to sacrifice a free plasma gun or melta.

Sternguard dropping in are really deadly. They can drop in and take out high priority targets really quickly. Those work well for Codex Marines.

People still use the Dark Angels codex?

Or paint them as 'factory-fresh', and deploy them as needed to whichever army you happen to be playing.

Be sure to distribute them fairly otherwise your little plastic space men will get jealous and battle each other while you're not watching.

In all seriousness, space woofs (wolf guard pack with combi-meltas works just as well as sternguard but cheaper, much better at h2h, and no special ammo) or vanilla marines (dropping dreads and sternguard.)

Thanks for the replies, and the humorous ones!
My own chapter has the most equipment(even 2 original land raiders!).
The Space Wolves do have a few:land raider, razorback, predator.
Dark Angels only just started,so currently only have a predator, but plan on getting Iron clad dreadnoughts and maybe terminators.
My own chapter(built up over many many years has about 200 tactical(mad,I know)40 assault,20 terminators,2 dreadnoughts,6 bikes=3 attack.
Feel it's over stocked, but my heart says that's where the pods should go.But if I decide to add Terminators or an Iron clad, they may be painted green!
Not sure what I'll do with the wolves at the moment, originally I'd decided to just construct a small force that has know grown far beyond the plan.

What's your color scheme on the custom chapter? If it shares colors with one of the other two, paint the top that color, char the crap out of the bottom (come on, you really think something can get shot down to a planet's surface from orbit and will still look all shiny and new?) to hide what might otherwise be inconsistent, and it will work for 2 of your 3 armies, at least. Most bang for your buck if your color schemes allow it. You could even cut out iconography from plasticard for each and magnetize it, if you want to specialize without sacrificing flexibility. Just a thought, again entirely dependent on colors.

The Dreadnote wrote:But the Emperor already has a shrine, in the form of your local Games Workshop. You honour him by sacrificing your money to the plastic effigies of his warriors. In time, your devotion will be rewarded with the gift of having even more effigies to worship.
