I'm making a themed jungle/ruins board for some tallarn, who, having their own jungle world defiled by chaos have come to a new one.
Anyone know where I can find tallarn background, to further allow me to connect the board and the inhabitants?

They do, yes. Pagarus, I believe you mean Catachans.

Regardless, fro a newly colonised world, use plenty of temporary shelters and portable equipment. For example, if you have a grand central ruin, try adding portable generators, screens, camp beds and tarpaulins to show its new occupation.

Failing that, you could make a temporary landing site- create a hill large enough to land Valkyries on and construct some rough platforms near it with piles of crates, barrels, etc. An ad hoc command station would look effective too.

Basically, stay away from Bastions, and CoD ruins, as these suggest more established colonies.

Hope that helps!

If you have the cash FW has a good collection of resin sand bag structures and the like.

Before moving to my current barracks I'd plans to make a Vietnam style fire support base using a bunch of the FW parts on a foam base. It could easily have been a daisy-cutter stripped patch out in the middle of a jungle.
