I like the textures and how the ground breaks away at random intervals. That feels very natural.

The smaller "cracks" don't feel good. They look like the idea of cracks and not real breaks in the ground. Or they look like chicken feet. I'd look into buying some of these but I'd green stuff those out.

Are the black bases beneath included as well?
and are they all 1 piece?

Some of these are quite nice. Some, not so much. The top middle one, the 3rd one in the center row, and the last one (in the first picture) are excellent.

Some of the larger cracks look more like little trees embossed into the ground as a design, which I thought they were initially.

I'm not a master sculptor, so take my advice as you will, but I think a more realistic and natural look would incorporate the fact that an impact striking a group of tiles will not leave a mark that happens to span multiple tiles, but each tile will crack in a different way - a large crack, will smaller hairline cracks going out to the edges of each tile. They would not interact with the other tiles as part of a whole.

They are all one solid resin piece. The area that is black was painted black. RIght now im working on the same set for warmachine.

Thank you so much for the input. I will see what I can do. If I have to remake the series I will.

Here's an example of what I mean. Sure, all together the tiles represent the force that cracked them, but they do so individually - most of the crack marks don't line up perfectly with the others where they meet the other tiles, because each individual tile has it's own stress points.

I'd certainly want to get some of these for Warmachine, when they are available.

Sweet thanks for the input. But here is the question...would you rather prefer an insert to the current warmachine bases or a full resin base?

Speaking only for myself, I don't see a big difference either way.

Very nice looking bases. If I hadn't already started making my own urban bases I would pick up a bunch of these!
