A splinter from Hive Fleet Gorgon that was thought to have vanished. The grim dark truth this hive fleed has devised a more sinister way to consume worlds. The vanguard infiltrate worlds and infect local fauna and water supplies with a subtle dormant virus that slowly adds tyrnid DNA to those exposed and when the time is right a rapid forced evolution into a hybrid tyranidic life form.

In most cases the infected are simply crazed monstrosties that simply consume all in their wake infecting more this this now active virus causing more forced evolutions. Those who are more resistant to this virus are still turned but evolve into more stable form able to be manipulated by the hive mind. It is this mechanism that allows Hive Fleet Cambrian to remain hidden. Most world fall into chaos in a day reporting Demonic or chaos incursions and riots before going silent. During this Chaos the hive fleet desends and consumes the world as its own populous assists the hive fleet in consuming bio-mass.

I say make the rupture cannon bigger, and the maybe position the body leaning even more so that the two front legs can touch the ground, (I'm thinking using shyting talons as legs) for suport. Other wise like the ideá and love the CTHULH model

The 2 sets of Legs I was thinking of Using modified sythals and Modified Crushing claws to act like a Support limbs

They look like necromorphs from Dead space.

For a good set of second legs on a Fex body, you can nip the tip off the Crushing Claws to make a second set of hooves, but you'll have to lean the body further forward or change their shoulder location so they reach the ground better.

What I was thinking of over lunch since i have a bunch of Crushing claws use 3 claws in "Y" type pattern and have the T-Fex leaning on those. Either in a Fist or in a "bracing" formation.

Don't like the first marine that much. But the secon marine is SWEET!

Haha, what I myself thought of when I was reading Cambria was the band Coheed & Cambria, so I imagined some sort of space rock-opera thing, perhaps a Hive Tyrant wielding a massive axe (guitar), haha...something like Tyranids mixed with Sonic marines

I agree with Mightmagic, they definitely have a Dead Space vibe to them. I'd absolutely LOVE to see a Dead Space-theme Tyranid army, that would be amazing!

The Marines will be colored of various chapters, The Nids them selves are going to be a Lighter Green on the armor plating, with Orange streaks on the ends of the plates like the other nid paint schemes. Brownish yellow on the rest of the carapace. Not 100% on the claws/Hooves

Long awaited update! I've mostly been Priming and basing models and dealing with a tooth infection, but here for you to behold is my Trigon-Mawloc Prime!

The second marine looks soooo cool, almost like there's a nid inside him, bursting out.

Do the same with some rippers, not that it would fit with the fluff but it would look really sweet!!
