Ok so im planning on painting some night goblins soon ... but I want ot give them an unconventional colout scheme , with red hoods and upper clothing and from the waist down being black (on the Tunic) but im not sure as to what base colour to use ? ... should I primer them black or white ?

advice please

prime black, use mechrite red over any areas you want to be red. Wash that with devlan mud and do minor highlights with mechrite red or blood red.

Black can be a pain. Most people highlight with dark greys and a thin line of lighter grey.

Goblin skin is easy enough to do with knarloc green, devlan mud or badab black wash, and a highlight of goblin green.
