Subject: Question about the Valkyrie's side doors

Hey guys,
Looking at the instructions for the Valkyrie I just bought I see that the guns in the side doors seem to be movable... can they fold back behind the door?
Can you model it so that you still have the gunner standing behind the gun but you can push both back into the compartment and shut the door on them?
It seems like a nice way to be able to play it as a Valk with side-gunners or just a vanilla Valk depending on the game.
It'd be nice to get some answers anyhoo

Yes if you leave the gun mount and gunners feet unglued it should be possible, but most likely it won't stay together very long if it is a gaming piece. But it is surely worth a try!

Here's hoping I don't waste my time painting these gunners pointlessly eh?

Or you can use magnets to make the gunners removable. The door definitely slides, but I'm unsure how far back the gunner swings as I haven't assembled mine yet.

From fiddling with my Valkyrie it seems fairly easy to make the gunners pivot back into the craft properly, done by not gluing certain parts. (I intend to do this for the versatility.)
On the door, however, it seems to me you must glue it open or closed, unless anyone can suggest a way so it can skide between the two...?

You may need to pin the gun mounts (all that weight on 2 sq. mm is bound to end in pain otherwise. The guns and gunners will all hang off two swivel mounts which aren't the strongest).
You can make it so that they both swing back in and the doors close, but you do have to think about it a bit, first. Part of it involves not gluing the gun mount swivel in place, but gluing the gun to the gunner - this way the gun can swivel and so can the swing arm and they should both fit inside.
(I have it sketched out for my second valk. My first one has sponsons (as that's how they are used) mounted forward of the doors.)
