Forgeworld released the first Imperial vehicle with tires, those Elysians are bordering on heresay I think. Tires are an Ork technology, and xenos tech is forbidden.
Seriously though, who thinks it seems more like an Ork vehicle. Like a better warbuggy.

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.” |

Needs more tracks.
Needs more rivets.
Needs to be given to the SM, not the air pollution (Elysian drop targets).
Nice vehicle though. Maybe they've just noticed that Old Crow do a suitable similar model and they want their loyal customer base to pay more for their miscast crap.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Lol. Are they wheels or are they steamrollers like the SM bikes have?

Could you be more bitter?
The Elysians are, according to the background, a huge aberration from standard Guard forces. They employ Sentinels as part of their squads, alongside of Heavy Weapons teams. They train in both fast roping and actual paradrops(two very, very different "airborne" strategies...the difference between paratroopers and modern 'airborne' helicopter troops comes to mind here), and tend to be what the Inquisition goes towards when they want a highly trained cadre that isn't "needed" elsewhere(ex: Cadians) or that specialize exclusively in insurgency strikes.
But yeah. They're ridiculously awesome, and "miscast crap" is a ridiculous generalization. The only thing I've gotten that was a miscast, in 4 years(at least) was a Hydra Flak Tank's autocannon...and they replaced it pretty much instantly.

It's not a copy of Old Crow, it's a warhammerification of dune buggys. Also that was closer to an armored car this is a dune buggy. And the 3 axle thingis part of the Imperium's WW2 German inspireation.
I think its a great model, might even get it for both Guardsmen and Orks.
Mainly I was commenting on the fact the Imperium never has models with wheels. This is the first example besides bikes I can think of.
There not exactly steamroller tires, they are dualies. There are 8 back tires. Same effect, mayby they are desided to be roadkill friendly.
Multilasers and lascannons are nice but I want twin plasma cannons on them.
