I want a totally Slaanesh army (when it's complete) so I was wondering your opinion on Slaaneshi Berserkers? Possible??

I was thinking......

Slaanesh Berzerkers

4 4 4 4 1 5 2 9 3+ Berzerker
4 4 4 4 1 5 3 10 3+ Asp. Champ

Unit Comp: 5-20 Slaanesh Berzerkers.
Unit Type: Infantry.
War Gear: Power armour, bolt pistol, frag grenades, krak grenades, close combat weapons.
Special Rules: Fearless, Furious charge, Mark of Slaanesh (included in profile)
Transport: If it numbers ten or less models, the squad may have a Chaos Rhino dedicated transport.

So basically exactly the same as Khorne but swap +1 I for -1 WS

What does Dakka think?

I don't know if this is the correct section to write in, I'm new.

I can understand the intent, but Slaanesh is more in line with watching the opponent writhe in agony, then ripping them to shreds.

It always comes down to the question will your opponents accept it?

I wouldn't try and bring it to a tournament or pick me up game, but your friends may be more forgiving.

(p.s i think either go bezerkers or noisemarines...)

yeah this is true. I was thinking too many combat drugs (God of excess) instead of the labotomy for the crazy bloodlust bit!

I don't think anyone would object if I put them in my set up?

@ Reaver83
I don't like noise marines, which is kinda why i wondered.

That is more a question for your local gaming group.

You really can't legally take the Slaaneshi Berserkers because your combining certain traits to better one type of marine. The Slannesh Initiative on the charge would allow these guys I6 which is way over the top, thats with a str5. Personally I wouldn't play against this in a fun game. Don't even think that it would be accepted at any tournament.

I didn't think it was too OTT.

Khorne zerkers end up with 5 WS, 5 S, 5 I.
I thought that was OTT.

All opinions are valid though so thanks.

In my opinion, the problem with these Slaanesh Berzerkers is that there's no real reason for them to have furious charge. Remember, berzerkers are khornate cult troops, so they get things over and above just the mark, because they're uber Khorny.

So, Slaanesh berzerkers should replace their furious charge (which totally isn't slaaneshy at all) with a more appropriate rule. Could be any number of things, but definitely not furious charge.

I was thinking the same thing while thinking about this.

Maybe 'hit and run' would be more to their stlye.

Or even 'feels no pain'

Feel no pain was originally a Khornate gift....

Perhaps give them rending - sound waves can be focused to "cut" so this might work.

K Bezerkers are nto over the top, as they can still only take a single power weapon...

Just count as Zerkers as Slaanesh warriors.
Easy and effective.

It's really not a huge stretch and count as is pretty much the definition of the CSM codex...

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
