Ok so you can put mult. people on jet bikes. But they don't make the figures for this. So how would I do a warlock, farseer, or even eldrad on a jet bike without proxing?

Warlocks Ive seen a few ways, all of them work pretty well.
1-shining spears, paint up cooler, say they are warlocks.
2-Use fantasy high elf/dark elf spears and swords for your guardians and call them warlocks.
3-Buy extra dire avenger exarch swords and spears and put them on your jetbikes.
For a farseer just make a super ornamented guy using any of the above methods. Of course if you want to model them really well you can use other methods, but I wouldnt know any as I model very poorly.

Or chop alot of Warlocks/Farseers in half and attatch to the legs of a guardian riding the bike, and green stuff a robe over those legs.
Ive seen someone do this and although a bit more expensive, and needing more skill to pull off, looks amazing.
Is this in the wrong forum? as its not a rules query?

Convert it.
Or, if you play GWarhammer, you can't use those models, as the rules allow only for stock unconverted Citadel models

Yeah your stuck with converting it. If your opponent DEMANDZ that you make an uber-nice conversion, they can basically stuff that into GW's complaint box.
And this part...
eldrad on a jet bike
What?
The amount of terror I could bring to the field with that unit... it scares me.

Well... you can put Eldrad on a jetbike, but it won't do anything special besides be a nice 'terrain' on which he's sitting on.
Unless you house rule it, there are reasons he does not have access to a jetbike rules wise....
(as an aside, fluff-wise he's effectively dead )
Anyway, yea, convert it. I rather enjoy using lots o' greenstuff (or the cheaper equivalents) in coverting.
|
This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

How about this.... Eldrad is so old and feeble he needs a slow hovering jetbike to drive him around at infantry pace........that would work in my mind

... as an eldar player this is the farseer that gets taken no other is worth the fuss. If i wrote the codex it would be 0-1 Grand Farseer + text about the most famous Eldard. But then if i wrote the codex i would have combined in Dark eldar, craftworld and harlequins so you could make any eldar army using the one codex (which i think would piss off just as many players, if not more, then those that dislike eldrad)

I really like the 0-1 grand farseer idea, +1 for ya.
Personally for my warlock jetbikers they are jsut a warlock cut off at the waste jsut below the runes on his chest, cut off his arms leaving the shoulder pads, and dremel out his armpits to make sockets. Use some greenstuff to stick the torso guardian jetbiker's legs, and use the Dire Avenger Power weapon (spear) and shimmer shield arm (cut off the shimmer shield piece).
