Anyone in the Hemet/Moreno Valley area that plays WFB? Damn near impossible to find anyone to play closer than GMI in Riverside.

I'm from Yucaipa and I drive all the way to the Montclair GW Store to play. I just started my WFB Warriors of Chaos army. Have you tried Fun n Games in Temecula? They should put up a hobby store in Moreno Valley/Beaumont area so we have a place to game at...

Why do you go to the GW store Warlord? You should drive to GMI instead. It is closer, more space, and has really cool players.
@Aerethan: I just played a guy from Hemet at GMI last week...

I drive up there because it's close to Otario Mills and that makes the wife happy while I play and hobby.

Basically just call GMI and they'll tell you who's planning on coming in when. GMI really is, hands down, the best place to go, even though it's out of the way for basically everyone. You won't find a better place to be, whether it's 40k or fantasy. As far as I know they have the most fantasy players of all the stores (with the exception of the GW store perhaps).

Playing at a GW store is not, has never been, and will never be an option for me.

I can assume you've had the same bad experiences there that I have?

My most recent GW experience was at the new store in Mission Viejo, right around the corner from my Dad's house(literally).
All I needed was a box of cold one knights for my wife and the tool working there wouldn't just let me be. It makes for a frustrating browsing experience, and while I know in my head EVERY last thing that GW makes, I still like to look around and skim army books etc.
Alas I will have to return there to pick up razordons and terradons as they are only sold thru GW directly and I refuse to pay shipping. I will likely be rather harsh on whatever poor underpaid sap is working that day.
To show that last fellow how fed up with him I was, when he asked for my name and address I simply said No and shook my head, at which point he finally understood my mood and continued the transaction. Sadly he was filling in for someone and he usually works at the GW in Orange, so I'm sure this next visit will be the same story.

Wow.
All I have to say is wow... I've been a retail manager for a long time and I'm sure you can guess what I'd do with those employees.

I had a bad experience at the Glendale GW Store and I told the red shirts at the Gateway Store and he said that he is required by his manager to report experiences like that. I guess it really depends on the crew at the store. Steve and Douglas at the Gateway Store are very understanding and accomadating. If you do drop by, tell them Randy highly recommended their store.
I will go by GMI when I get the chance which will most likely be a Saturday (my only allowed hobby day).

Went to the Mission Viejo store today to pick up my razordons. 2 guys working, lots of people there, but I will say that I, at 25 years of age, was the second oldest person there, employees included, and I easily doubled the age of 3 kids there.
The employees had black shirts, and were really quite nice. Didn't even try to sell me anything. They asked what I played, what I came in for, and if I was interested in taking a look at the store copy of the new beastmen book.
Easily the best GW experience I've had in years, although with the exception of the store owned minis, not a single primed or painted model to be had from those playing there.
