So first off, sorry I dont know how well you can see the model from the pictures, especially since the whole thing is plastic grey. (see bottom of OP for pics)

Now I had a few issues when I built my first Chariot here. As you hopefully can see both crew don't exactly fit in the chariot, I dont even know if I used the right legs for the driver and warrior. I put the driver in first then the spear wouldnt fit because of the whip. Does anyone have any advice for building/positioning the two in the chariot? That would help me a lot. Also where should I put the chariot arrow quiver, and should I grab a bow from the archer sprue?

Next thing is the fact that the bases dont have holes already in them for the horses. Because I dont have any modelling tools to make them, and I just dont want to cut into the base... Should I do my chariots like my first one, having the lines of plastic under the horses (if yes I was thinking I could use basing techniques to hide them a little), or do I need to cut that? and have the horses hooves touching the base. Any help for that issue would be great as well.

How does the horse to chariot part work? I just see two bumps on top of the horses, I just had to guess where to place them from the instructions on the box. Is that right? It looks rather weird, nothing's really keeping the horses attached to the chariot. One last question, I noticed there's no rope or any kind of cable for the pilot to control the horses, would that look ok if I greenstuff made like two strings from the horses to the rider's right fist?

Thanks for the help and enjoy the pics

Hey cal Darrell Here. I saw the thread and I looked on the main gw site for how the model should look. The horses should be a bit more closer ot the middle pole from the picture on the site. Also it loos like the quiver and bow are stuck on the side.

As said above I would scootch the driver up a fair bit to make room for the warrior. Also I think it would look slightly better if the warrior was standing side ways with the spear sticking forward making it look like hes going to spear some one with it.

For the horses id just lob off the plastic tabs on the side. That or take your modeling knife and cut slots for them on the base. Your choice but the pole they are attached to and the chariot stuck on the base itself should keep them on it fairly well.

woops almost forgot the link. here ya go.

I think thats what its suppose to look like if you needed a referance.

clip off the tabs on the horses' feet & glue them directly to the base.
because they're plastic the bond will be strong enough if you're using decent plastic glue (either revel or the liquid stuff that comes in a glass jar with a brush attached to the lid IMO).
The quiver can go on the outside of the chariot.

for the ropes i recomend brass picture hanging wire.

Also do a search on google for egyptian chariot for reference. eg -

& these were just the first 3 images that came up!

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

ah cool thanks for help

I cant move the driver forward. One of his legs is hugely stretching out towards the front of the chariot, while the other leg strait and pointing to the left of the chariot. It makes it hard to fit those legs and the other pair both in the chariot lol.

Here's my second try now. I did a converted Tomb Prince on a Chariot. Used greenstuff to mostly mummify him (the codex said Princes only get partially mummified, and kings whole). I put the plastic bars off the bottom of the horses, they get unstable if the glue comes off their hooves but it looks great. I did a great looking Prince just to find I had forgotten the legs are spread out too far to fit in the chariot. I could just shift the chest a little to the left and it would be perfect, however I might just leave it as it is because it looks cool.

I like to use a great weapon, but I failed to find or figure out how to get a Tomb Kings looking plastic great weapon. This does not exist XD. So I went with a spear/javalin thrower, idk how that's gona work as a great weapon but it looks cool and fluffy. Well theres the spear I used on my first chariot that looks like a great weapon, I just dont like the position of the hands and the downwards motion of the spear for my Prince. Anywho enjoy the pics.
