I think the new nids strongpoint is their deployment options. So I tried to make a list revolving around that. Im over my points limit though at 2250. So any suggestions to trim it are welcome too!

Idea is to pretty much end up right in the face of pretty much everything. Hopefully the parasite along with the gargoyles will spew out rippers. Zoans for AT pretty much, and basically everything else can wipe most infantry. Raveners can get some hits on rear tank armor if need be. Trygon is there for synapse and a big fire magnet. My HQs will tote around with their respective units. Parasite with gargoyles and Prime with the troop Warriors.

Your tyranid prime should have two boneswords. It makes him a nuts hard character killer.

Toxin sacs are better for stealers than adrenal glands. On anything T4 or lower you will reroll to wound, which works very well with rending.

I still dont think gargoyles are any good. Fleshborers are just bad guns and you havent buffed them to make them passable in combat. If you want flying nasties look into getting shrikes with deathspitters or boneswords. You get less but they will do more damage.

Ya that does look better for the stealers. I face a lot of t3 so I think gargoyles will be great plus Im looking at ways of skimming 250 points. If I take toxin sacs on them, that coupled with blinding venom makes for a lot of wounds on things. Seems like I could even use them for MC hunting.

I didnt even know you could take two boneswords on the warriors! Thats great, 3d6 LD test is nice. Still working on combing the fine details of the codex!

At this point total your troops that you do have will be task with killing and not really with objective grabbing. I would drop at least one fast attack in favor of another basic troop unit.
