Drop the Healing Potion from Archmage.
Give Dragon Mage Silver Wand by dropping power stone to take maxium effect from his extra dice per spell.
Otherwise looks pretty OK to me.

You cant take 2 warbanners if I recall cal. Only thing you can take more then one of are powerstones and dispel scrolls.

The above post is correct. Only one of each magic item (common or not) can be taken per army with the expection of powerstones and dispel scrolls
|

I think it looks pretty cool! Do you have the models, or is this just an "in theory"? I've heard the dragon mages are real glass cannons (they can dish out punishment but can't take it) so it'd be very interesting to see two of them running around...

My suggestions:
I wouldn't bother with Healing Potion or Staff of Solidity, personally, and would opt instead to make a more aggressive build for the Archmage. Seerstaff is a nice option as it lets you pick out the powers that you want. You're only allowed one Arcane Item - I'd pick the Seerstaff over the Jewel of Dusk - there're other ways to get that extra Power Die. For some more offensive 'oomph', you could do Seerstaff + Ring of Fury. Add a Dispel Scroll for extra defense. If you'd rather some extra protection for your Archmage, give him the Guardian Phoenix instead of the RoF.
As suggested, give the Dragon Mage the Silver Wand to take advantage of the Reckless Rule. If you opted to give your Archmage the Guardian Phoenix, Silver Wand + Ring of Fury on a Dragon Mage can make him into quite a magic missile spammer.
Phoenix Guard - as mentioned before, you can't have duplicates of Magic Items. In any event, if you give these guys the Banner of Sorcery instead, you get an extra +D3 PDs every turn. Not cheap, but very effective.
Dragon Princes - Personally, I'd drop the Drakemaster and Musician in favor of an extra body, but that's just my personal choice. If you're really worried about fighting against Ethereal Creatures, give the AoL to your PG or White Lion champion instead.
With regard to the Archmage's dragon - I would drop it down to the Sun Dragon. Saves you 50 points at the expense of a 4+ scaly Skin save (which probably won't matter for most things that would likely be shooting at it. You're mostly paying for WS/S/A bonuses that you won't be using - you don't want to have your Archmage in combat. Save the points and just use it as the Flying Terror causer. Use the spare points to help get a second Bolt Thrower.

I can see you easily losing your lvl 4 caster in the first 2 rounds against most lists with some decent shooting. Just ask poor lizardmen players how long spellcasters on the back of big scaly lizards hold up to determined shooting (and they have a 2+ armor save and usually 5+ ward).
