so i went to my buddy's house last night.. and saw he had a box of warmachine blisters/ box sets. so i asked if i could look through them. Ended up buying:
Vlad
Kodiak
Marauder
Man of war shocktroopersx2
Man of war kovink

I know i need a 3rd man of war but untill i can get it i will just proxy something. and i got them all for around 40 bucks ... brand new in packaging.

Just proxy the kovnik as the sergeant of the Manowar unit.

I don't know how well that will work together, though on feat turn the Marauder will
be fun to swatch.

yea these are going to be part of a ...larger army.. including another kodiak or marauder .. a drago and some doom reavers...lol abd e butcher

main idea is to have the jacks and maybe even the man of war within 3" of vlad and just use wind wall till i get within charge range

Read the text on wind wall to be sure. It might be one of those rules that states completely within instead of just within. Completely within is much trickier to pull off

I do believe it is within. A guy in our group used to run the Vladhemoth list almost exclusively until we figured out how to take it apart. Same strategy, Vlad, Behemoth, windwall and bombard the crap out of everything while advancing.

completely within is ... not that hard.. if i take the 2 jacks on his sides, and the 3 man of war in front of him..

Hope your friend activated the Behemoth first. Wind Wall prevents you from making
ranged attacks.

Lord G.: It's not that hard, but it can be easy to forget that running this model this
much, and this other model this much will leave something else outside of Wind Wall.

i know.. its a sacrifice.. on movement for vlad .. but yes i know.. its not a great list.. just .. i got the models for 40 bucks so i took it

it might be the ol "khador gap" that was in some of the earlier jacks, i got that in my first few jacks as well, a bit of putty should fix it. good haul for 40 bucks, got yourself a good 15-20 point force already.

if i get a drago... and a 3rd man o war.. i can have the kovnik marshal the kodiak because its a cheap on focus jack ...or maybe.. keep him with the 3 man squad of man o war.. and the free of focus drago, cheap on focus kodiak, and the regular focus marauder .. idk.. i'd have top play a few games first.. and yes it is the "khador gap" between the main chest piece and the back piece... at the top ridge above the head and bottom of the back
