Since a Wraith has a pair of claws, does it count as having 2 cc weapons, therefore having another attack?

not sure which codex but i'm guessing necron. i bleive that it has ether been FAQ or other wise that it doesn't have a close combat weapons (claws, teeth , ect don't count)

No. Quite Simply, No. The "Claws" Are never said to be a CCW. RaW a Wraith has no CCW at all.

You don't get a bonus for two CCWs unless you're explicitly granted it - especially in those old codexes like the Necrons. The norm for that time was to show 2CCW bonuses in the profile.

Now, where does it say Claws and Tail are a CCW?Nowhere, thus, it has Claws and a Tail, but they don't do anything.

So you did well in keeping it useful for the OP.

I'm pretty sure the only things that count as CCW are those specifically outlined on page 42 of the BRB.

You'll note that summoned lesser daemons in the Chaos Codex have 2 base attacks, but are only armed with a single CCW. This an example of the improvements in Codex writing over the last few editions.

So Wraiths only get the 3 attacks on their profile, even though(or perhaps because) they have a boatload of sharpness all over themselves.
