Im a Tyranid player and have a decent sized army and I'm wanting to make a new army. I almost chose Dark Eldar as my first army but since I didn't I will be making them my 2ed. But i have some questions.

Are they going to be having a new Codex coming out anytime soon? If so any idea when?

Are Dark Eldar going to be taken out of 40k? I have read forums from other sites that say there are rumors that DE will be taken out.

If theres any answers you can give, i greatly appreciate it.

It is tentatively scheduled for next year...for the last five years running. You'll get used to hearing it's "next year" after a while. Inside sources state it's scheduled for 2076 but I think those are just rumors.

We're due to be squatted either right after or right before they Squat Witchhunters/Daemonhunters. In all legitimate honesty this appears to be just a rumor as representatives of GW have specifically commented on how DE models are in production.

If knowing for certain new models/codex coming out soon are a pre-requisite for you playing DE - then I wouldn't play DE as we have no clear sign of any of that happening within the immediate future.
If you think the current DE codex looks interesting/competitive and/or you really like the models and/or fluff then you ought to start playing them whenever you wish - because you'll be having fun playing an army you like.
