HQ
Marshal + Pair of Lightning Claws + Terminator Armor - 135pts
Emperor's Champion + Accept any Challenge no Matter the Odds - 140pts

Elites
Sword Brethren Assault Terminator Squad - Assualt Terminator x6 + Furious Charge x6 - 258
Land Raider Crusader - Land Raider Crusader + Smoke Launchers - 268pts
Dreadnought - Dreadnought + Twin-Linked LasCannon + Missile Launcher + Venerable + Tank Hunter - 165pts

Troops
Crusader Squad Alpha - x8 Initiates + Power Weapon + Meltagun - 148pts
Rhino Transport - Rhino + Smoke Launchers + Extra Armor - 58pts

Crusader Squad Bravo - x8 Initiates + Power Weapon + Meltagun - 148pts
Rhino Transport - Rhino + Smoke Launchers + Extra Armor - 58pts

Crusader Squad Charlie - x5 Initiates + Missile Launcher - 90pts

Total: 1468

The Marshall rides with the Terminators and, along with the rhinos move up and will most likely pop smoke after turn 1. Charlie sits on any home objective, or in cover and shoots at any transports. The Dreadnought hits any heavy armor, or monstrous creature. The Champion will ride with Alpha/Bravo(doesn't really matter) and engage the enemy with the terminators asap.
Suggestions?/C&C Welcome
Thanks in advance

At 1500pts, you're putting a lot of eggs into the LRC basket. I'd drop Marshal or change him to Power Armor with cheap weapons and ride in a Rhino. The Assault Termies should be able to handle themselves.

Powerfists are better than PWs in Crusader Squads.

The cost of your Rhinos is off, should be 58pts.

I'm not a fan of shooty Crusader Squads. Personal preference. I'd prefer skimming points from elsewhere and getting a Predator or Vindicator.

I'm not sure about the Marshal. His LD 10 is only going to help your small squad with the ML and your units if their transports get blown up. He's good, and I used to always give mine a mantle in addition to the terminator armor and lightning claws because a PF can potentially snipe him.

He's not bad, but I'm not convinced he's worth the 92 points over another Assault Terminator.

I'm assuming you're giving the Terminators lightning claws? Dropping the Marshal and adding a TH/SS or two would give this unit a little more durability vs power weapons/MCs and more offense versus armor.

Getting a PF is iffy since you only get 1 base attack with it, but sometimes it's all you need. It's definitely a preference thing that you need to play out a few times to find which weapon you like better.

Like bigduncm24 said, the Rhinos should be 58 points, but also the squads should be 144 points and the small ML squad should be 90 points.

That saves you 38 points.

If you drop the Marshal and add a TH/SS terminator, then you have 130 points left. You can use those for a Vindicator, a Predator (either TL las+HB or AC+las), or another TH/SS terminator+another 5 man ML squad.

-I don't know where you are getting 144pts for the Crusader Squads but, I did check again and fixed the values for the ML Squad and the Rhinos.
-About using Powerfists, I used to use them for all of my squads, but the one attack(even with a re-roll to hit) didn't seem to be worth the sacrifice for I1, especially when they are operating in a unit of only 8 marines.
- I feel that the Marshall is well worth his points, getting 6 I5 attacks on the charge with re-roll hits/wounds. Also I feel that the increased leadership is a near full-proof way to pass RZ tests.
- I'm really opposed to putting a SS and TH on a unit with furious charge, mainly because it is a waste, and due to the fact that our Shields only protect in melee and at a reduced save than our Vanilla counterparts.
- As for trying to squeeze in a vehicle over the ML Crusader Squad, I believe that that would put me at a disadvantage on any objective game, which is 66% of normal games, because not only would it be a easy target for any high strength ranged weapon, but it would also be susceptible to any Podding/DS/Infiltrate attack.

With the extra 52pts I will most likely fill the Crusader Squads to full 9(+Emperor's Champion) and 10.

The reason most people go with PF/Meltagun is to kill ICs and Dreadnaughts. I don't think PWs are bad, but have found PFs to give more punch.

If you're really worried about objectives, your best bet is to reallocate points from the Termies, LRC, and Marshal. If the LRC is popped or immobilized, you now have 393pts trying their best to get into close combat. If I were you're opponent, I'd shoot and avoid you to death. At higher point games, you take that chance. At 1500pts, you're putting a lot of points into one basket.

One or two TH/SSs is good to help with Dreadnaught, MCs, and vehicles. You'll still have plenty of slice and dice close combat power with the remaining LCs and wasting 3 pts for Furious Charge is negligible.

You could also save money by using a few Neophytes instead of Initiates. By doing this and dropping 1 Terminator and the Marshal completely, you could afford another Crusader Squad + Rhino and possibly another Dreadnaught (if my quick calcs are right). Or a few MM Landspeeders instead of the additional Dread.

I see where you are coming from with the PowerFists, because I have seen them take out AV 10-12 with ease, but I have that covered with my Dreadnought and Crusader squad, who will be hitting at S8, and S10/9 which is equal to and higher than the PF.
As for using neophytes instead of normal Marines, I feel that the point gain isn't worth much, because they cannot use AAC, and are weaker so i'll basically be taking points out of my troop choices which are already slim to start with.
And finally the LRC and its Terminators, I do feel that I am gambling a lot by putting in about 650pts into a vehicle that can easily be destroyed by Meltas/Lances/RailGuns/Tyrannofex, but its purpose is to move the terminators, which it should be able to do with Smoke.

If you drop the Marshall and the dread, you could try to take the second LRC or LR. 1 LR seems no better than none, since nobody would forget to take some tools to open AV14, in a game which is more than 1000pts.
