Sorry about having to post another mech-guard list, but I need help deciding how to spend the last 100pts. on this list.

Here's what I have:

HQ:

CCS
4x Flamers
Chimera (ML & HB)
= 105

Troops:

4x Vet. Squads
3x Meltas
Chimera (ML & HB)
= 620

Fast Attack:
Bane Wolf (HF)
Bane Wolf (HF)
Hell Hound (HB)
(All separate squads, obviously)
= 390

Heavy Support:
LR Executioner
Plasma sponsons
LRBT (HB)
LRBT (HB)
=530

Total = 1645

I would prefer to keep with the FA choices above, and avoid Valks. or Vends. as I'm going for a tank theme, rather than including the flyers. The only problem is that I can't figure out what to do with the extra 105 points. I was toying with the idea of including two squads of 5 each ratlings... I know how stupid that sounds, BUT, I couldn't come up with much more. Can Dakka give me some advice?

Try 2 las cannons on the regular russes, as the heavy bolter can hurt when allocating wounds on smallish units.

Then, you can add 2 autocannons and 2 las cannons to the vets. This will allow you to present many MSU to overwhelm certian MSU mech builds.

The way I see it, depending on the enemies deployement, you can get the vets out of the chimera, and use the chimeras on landspeeders/rhinos/other light armor. You also have 3 seperate russes and 4 seperate vet squads to also target enemy armor. The end result is that you can sit back and blaze away at enemy armor with the vets, without needing to lose shots moving or to a shaken/stunned result.

On the other hand, you could add an inquisitor with mystics, hood, tarot, psycannon ect. Or a psychic battle squad.
