Hi, I'm MasterDRD. I are pretty cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything? I play Chaos Space Marines in 40k, and Warriors of Chaos in Fantasy; I started 40k in mid-2007, and Fantasy in mid-2009. In the past I've had (or still have) Orks, Tyranids, Daemonhunters, Daemons of Chaos, Necrons, and Space Marines. (the Necrons are my next project, and the Marines are going to become Renegade marines, so eventually I may use them as CSM to bolster my Black Legion, or as a Space Marine chapter who *incidentally* worship Chaos.)
I own an Xbox 360 and a quad core PC. I also play Magic: the Gathering, and have played WoW in the past. (and will again, once Cataclysm comes out. Flying in Azeroth!!) I like to read; my favorite book of all time is Ender's Game, and 2 of my favorite series are Wheel of Time and Sword of Truth series. If you haven't read them, I highly recommend doing so. I am a Metalhead and proud of it. *insert 'the horns' emoticon that this forum seems to be lacking* My favorite band is Metallica; other favorites include Pantera, Dethklok, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Iced Earth, 3 Inches of Blood, and Poisonwood, a very new band with only 7 songs and no label. Why would such a new band be among these other titans? In The Name Of A Tyrant and Dark Days Rise is why. (their best 2 songs, IMO. Both are in my top 25 favorite songs of all time...) I am fond of women, though I'm currently single (Curse of the Nerd). I approve of weed, though I very, very rarely use it (and I despise cigarettes); I'm not a pothead, but I've been told that I have a pothead's sense of humor...
Also, you lose The Game.

What's wrong with my grammar? If you're referring to my second sentence, that's a butchered version of a common joke... link The rest of my grammar seems pretty spot-on, other than the fact that I tend to be a bit long-winded sometimes.

Sword of Truth series for the fething win!

I love that series. Probably the best thing about it was what happened at the very end, with that one particular part that explicitly reveals the main point of the entire series starting with the 2nd book... (If you've read it you know what I'm talking about; if you haven't, read it now.) Sidenote: After I finished reading the 1st 2 Gaunt's Ghosts omnibuses, I went through a phase where I used 'feth' as my main 'sentence enhancer' for about a month. I never really took to using 'gak' though...

Heh, yeah it's a placeholder until I figure out what I really want to use. So is my sig. It's not easy picking a good avatar that isn't in use by 20 other people, and it's important because it becomes the visual representation of who you are to the rest of the forum. TBH I'll probably go through a few placeholders until I make one of my own.

Yeah Wheel of Time is crazy... It's very fond of looking at things from EVERYONE'S point-of-view, which means that the main character often gets only about a 3rd of the 'screen time' in some of the books, and one of the original 3 main characters gets a lot less time than some of the later ones.
I changed my avatar so the people who actually fell for that trick don't need to worry anymore... (seriously though, who hasn't heard of the old alt+f4 trick before? I thought everyone knew it already.)

Seriously welcome to Dakka, hope ya stick around and put up some picks for me to be jealous of. I prefer Disc Wold books by Terry Pratchet, maybe I'll check out some of the ones you listed. I'll keep an eye out when I hit the book stores.

That reminds me of a prank I saw pulled on 4chan once. Some guy posted about how there was a new social security number filter that would block out any SS#'s that were posted. Then a couple other likeminded trolls posted things like "XXX-XX-XXXX Hey cool it works "
Then some noobtard actually posted his SS#. Epic lulz all around! (sucks to be that last guy though...)
I've never heard of Disc Wold... is it anything like Discworld?
But seriously, I will forewarn you that both Wheel of Time and Sword of Truth are 'large book series'. Every book is like a fething dictionary (around 600-800 pages per book) so don't start if you can't handle that much reading...
