a quick 1000pt list that will possibly go tourney if anyone could help

I would probably put the Warboss on a Warbike, have him ride behind people and selectively engage who he wants to. The Bike gives him 4+ armour, and cover, plus cybork body makes him pretty safe from shooting, and he is also really fast.
The army itself doesn't seem too bad, I would probably just get more Orks and put them in Trukks instead of Battlewagons. You are playing 1000 pts, and you have 30 boyz and 15 lootas, that just doesn't seem to be enough boys in my opinion. Certainly Trukks aren't can't take too many shots, but for the price you are paying for the Battlewagon you can easily get 3 of them. More boyz means more bashin'. Thats all I am saying.

The Kans and Dread doesn't really fit in here, they are going to get left behind. They are also a little redundant, skorchas are for killing infantry which your boys already excel at. If you have to take them, give your Kans KMBs and put that BS3 to good use popping transports from range. The only redeeming factor the Dread has is that it's scoring...I would drop it and take another Kan.

As with all mech orks lists, I'd like to see a complex unit of Nob here, but they might be too much of a point sink at this low points level.

Give your Battlewagon one or two big shootas so that the first Weapon Destroyed result doesn't get turned into Immobilised.

Dreads aren't scoring, troops choice or not.

You're right. Makes me wonder why taking Dreads as a Troops choice is even an option in the first place, other than to free up Heavy support slots.

Depends on the list I suppose. You should be fairly safe from Lash, but that's all I can really say without further details.

I think you'd be better off putting Grotzookas on all of your Kans, and using 10 the extra 20 to put a Kannon on your Battlewagon.

ok that brings me back up to 1000 pts but what does it mean by (crew not included) does it mean it can only fire while the mob is on board? if so its useless?

Keep your Warboss away from Blissgiver, and make sure you pop that rhino from distance and charge the contents so he can't use those flamers.The Obliterators are going to cause havoc unless you tarpit them early, watch out for that.

If only orks had drop pods out with the capacity for 3 kans / 1 Dread / 20 boys. Their probably going to bring drop pods out for all armys I reckon.
