Here is a Stormlord that I finished recently for a Praetorian Imperial Guard force. This is definitely a centerpiece for the army.

Commentary is always welcome.

At first I thought the title said Swarmlord Superheavy Tank, and I thought I have to see this. I was let down... But it's still cool looking.

The bit stuck on the side of England. Wales isn't it.

Its got a kind of early GW . 80's feel , but in a good way. Its got the bright solid colours but with just enough weathering on there to add "real" to the whole thing. I like it a lot.

while the paint scheme wouldn't match any army that i've ever seen, the detail is quite nice. to be honest, it reminds me of the old catalog pics of Fantasy Empire Steam Tanks. is that what you were going for?

It goes nicely with the Praetorian concept IMO.

Nice job, looks awesome.

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

Okay, so the male version of "Cougar" is now officially "Albatross".

Well it can double as empire steam tank!
( and size makes it the first Fantasy super heavy! )

This'd look awesome as part of a Mordian force.

Grand job on the weathering

Yeah, the Praetorians that this tank goes with are essentially Mordians in red (with pith helmets).

Most IG forces don't do the super bright colors on their tanks, but if the space marines can do it, why not the guard?

As always very nice job. Did you actually count the rivets as you painted them all

Eventually I'm going to snap, and have to photoshop this tank with four Boneswords sticking out of it.

Beautiful work.

Only real criticism would be that the heavy bolters on the front don't match the sponson guns. I'd drill them out with a slightly larger drill bit...

It should fit right in with a Praetorian force. Nice smooth, bold paintjob.

Hell, no. Man, I really don't want to know.

Hm... are you there yet? I mean really, I want to see that.

Gorgeous work. I can't help but agree after reading Luna's post, It does look somewhat like a steam tank. If I ever saw a Stank like that rolling towards my High Elves I think I would cry.

I painted this (in part) in the local games and comic shop. When I started in on the blue and red color scheme, the comment I got was that it looked like Optimus Prime.

It's all cool. This is way brighter than any other Stormlord I've seen at least.

Aw, yeah. When I use this tank on the game table I am going to have to say, "Roll Out!" every time it moves.

Awesome! Fits Praetorians perfectly! In fact, I looked before I read it and that is what jumped right to mind, so good work.

needs preatorian vehicle crew!

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

I never thought of Praetorians and Stormlords together but with that paint job the only thing it's missing a big Union Jack flying from it! Great work!

I think the Praetorians would use some other kind of flag. Maybe the one with the red lion on it. But I think that one is Scottish, and not English.

But then again, it was a Welsh regiment that defended Rourk's Drift, so maybe it should be that flag with the dragon.
