I noticed that the card was up for preview on the PP website. I'm not sure how impressed I am.
What are other peoples thoughts?
How about thoughts on the light jack. It seems kind of Meh to me. Two open fists and anyone in B2B can't be targeted by blasts.

The Vigilant- What kills Protectorate infantry dead- Blast Damage.

4 points for a support 'jack that is ARM 21 seems great.

Cinerators- move as fast as Bastions unless the enemy decides it's too much of a
threat , especially if they tend to field infantry that clumps up.

Neither will make every list, but I think that's all for the good.

Yeah, I'm kinda digging the Vigilant as a nice bodyguard for a choir, or infantry in general.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I get where the Vigilant could come in handy but it seems a big investment in lower point games. It might be the sort of thing to make my list if our club really sticks to Warmachine and we go up to higher point games.

Also, I thought all jacks with shields had their shields calculated into their cards in MkII. Maybe I haven't looked that closely.

The card is the Base ARM. The shield bonus increases it by the amount in the shield box.

I guess I have the opposite reaction to the new models than most other Menoth players. I'm a bit cautious of the Vigilant, myself. So, I'm going to take a light jack to support the choir which is supporting another Jack or two? Seems a bit redundant to me. All the support tools are nice, but you gotta have some offensive punch. Yeah, you could take it to protect a solo, but you're paying twice as much for the support than you are the solo. The Cinerators, on the other hand, I see as a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't attack them \unit.

eFeora next to a Vigilant is an ARM19 plus powerfield next to an ARM 21 model, both immune to blast damage. A nice protection element for your warcaster.

With the new command radius rules, individual choir members I wouldn't be too worried about losing to scattered blasts. It hurts things like the reclaimer or vassals more, so I think this thing will work better for them. And those new Mechanics!

At ARM 19 eFeora's pretty much immune to blast damage anyway. Better to surround it with high DEF/Stealth low ARM models like Daughters of the Flame.
