hello there!
long time lurker, first time poster .

ive decided to start a renegade force based on an apocolyptic world, with lots of inspiration coming from the post apocalyptic imagery, films and games. The idea behind the army is that they are a force made up of survivors of a nuclear war which has wiped out most of the civilisation and leaving them to live in a toxic wasteland. Most of the models ive used so far are recycled from earlier armies with new parts replacing old, unable to use parts. I'm going to be picking up some new models to play with at the end of the week .

here are some models i have started already (i still need to remove mold lines and fix the green stuff and what not)-

first three guys-

next three guys-

sergeant-

and some indivdual shots-

thats it so far!

i apoligise if the pictures are too big, if so i will resize them

i'll hopefully have a test paint-scheme done by later tonight, if so i'll post a picture tomorrow.

C&C?
Rawr!

I'd consider picking up a group of Chaos Marauders if you're going for the Mad Max look.

Agreed, I seldom say this but those look awful. I think because you are trying to overburdon the models. Draw it back a little, and maybe give them some more drab clothes. Also if I had a gun, I wouldn't be carrying a bow and arrow just a thought.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

they're ok but as above, dont overburdon them. the way to think about it is how much stuff could you carry and where would you have it on your body. i must say though i do like the knee pads.

yeah i can see what you mean about overloading them. I'll remove some of their pouches and stuff and see how they look,
unfortunately i can't try out any paint schemes, i knocked my can of spraypaint off the desk and the nozzle snapped off .
