nice balanced first list, but a few minor problems.

On the point of mandatory army composition, you will need another character to lead your force because a battle standard bearer can never be an army general.

i would get these points by dropping the Villein (as a general rule the extra point of BS is never worth it in fantasy)and light armor from the archers, as well as the conquerors tapestry and virtue of knightly temper from the BSB. After that i would either start dropping archers until you get the points you need, or the upgrades from the Pegasus knights as you see fit.

In low points games (<=1000) a simple combo of the Gauntlet of the Duel combined with the virtue of confidence is more than enough on your general (with shield and barded mount of course). Charge your opponents 'fightiest' char and watch him whimper as you slap him across the face (think robin hood: men in tights) and then show him the power of the lady.
With that said, your bsb has two main roles to consider: 1st: Running in the same unit as the general where he will help smash the rank and file while your general dispatches any characters. Or leading your second unit of knights, where he should only engage lesser characters (mages, weak heros). In both cases you dont need to upgrade the BSB further for him to excel.

hope that helps!

You dont need a BSB to play a game, and he doesnt specifically say the Paladin has one so that point is null

Curses! Just when you've finally managed to bring the whole world under your evil influence some pathetic little Inquisitor goes whining off to the Adeptus Terra about rogue psykers and daemonic possession. I mean, do I look possessed? Well, do I? DO I???

No, Bretonnians NEED a BSB. Look it up in the army book.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

Yes, the Brets need two characters minimum. One to be the general, one for the BSB.

My advice would be to drop command on everything - absolutely everything. Drop the Conquerer's Tapestry as well. Buy a second paladin. Give him Virtue of Confidence and the Gauntlet of the Duel, by stripping stuff off the BSB and reducing the Archer unit as needed.

i was messing around in ArmyBuilder today and came up with this list, which i think suits most of your basic wants/needs:

115 pts - Paladin (Lance, Shield, Barded Steed, Gauntlet of the Duel, Virtue of Confidence)

74 pts - 1 Paladin (Barded Steed, Battle Standard Bearer)

101 pts - 16 Peasant Bowmen
-Braziers

127 pts - 20 Men-at-Arms
-Full Command

216 pts - 8 Knights of the Realm
-Full Command

201 pts - 8 Knights Errant
-Full Command
-Banner of Errantry

165 pts - 3 Pegasus Knights
-Gallant

Total Roster Cost: 999
