Hey everyone. I'm a 40k player switching over to fantasy. I was trying to decide between ogres or high elves. The aesthetics of the high elves looks really nice to me, but I like the low model count of the ogres. Anyone have any advice

High Elves are also a low model count army (Warhammer has a FAR higher model count than 40K anyway). High Elves are also far better as a gaming army they can basically do anything and fight anyone. Ogre Kingdoms are one of the worst armys in the game and when you add Gnoblars the model count sky rockets.

I recommend HEs if you want to be able to win, however if you're playing for fun, Ogres seem to be as fun army, even more funny prehaps?

If you like the aesthetics of HE, Ogres seem to be the opposite imho. So that's something to consider... however I think it would be awesome to go for Ogres! There's a new ruleset for fantasy coming out and, who knows, maybe they'll be more viable for it
