Ok so last night I was playing against my friends Spehs Mariens and I drained His Bike Squad. It Does 3d6 vs. Ld, remove wounds by how many you fail by. He said he passes because Calgar Can tell his troops to pass or fail moral, and stated my attack is a moral based roll. I said that in the profile it doesn't say moral it says Leadership test. I interprate that as two different things. Who Is right???
(we decided that I was, But we Also said we would need to ask.)

Can people please just call them SM or even marines and not some crap internet term.

And No, it doesn't work against doom, since God Of War specifies Morale tests. Doom causes a Leadership Test.

Yes he is soo wrong,
Morale is a Type of leadership test,
Not all leadership tests,

Therefore anything that affects leadership tests affects morale,
But anything that affects morale does not affect all leadership tests,

Agree with what everyone else has said.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.

Not only that, but it just doesn't make logical sense. You can't order your subordinates not to be affected by sorcery, no matter how manly you are.

Even if Calgar passed all Leadership tests... it doesn't matter.

Doom does not call for a Ld test, it calls for rolling 3d6 and comparing it to Ld.

Whut?

"every non-vehicle enemy unit within 6" of the Doom of Malan'tai must take a Leadership test on 3D6."

That is what the codex says.

Interesting that Calgar's army can still be pinned, I'd always kind of written it off as "oh it's basically fearless but you can choose to fail".

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Last I checked the entirety of all marine armies (going under different names in different codices) can always choose whether or not they pass all forms of Ld test, and never test normally, always choosing.

And when was the last time you checked, if I may so frankly ask? When you were in Dimension X mixing it up with Krang and The Shredder? (Why yes, I did see Turtles Forever, however did you guess? )

I am not certain, but I do not think that Space Marines of ANY KIND have EVER been able to Choose to Pass or Fail LEADERSHIP tests.

All Collies are dogs.
Not all dogs are Collies.

All Morale tests are Leadership tests.
Not all Leadership tests are Morale tests.

Krellnus, to be clear, you are utterly incorrect about Marine leadership rules. The various SM armies and some of their characters have multiple different special leadership rules, and none of them do what you just posted, or ever have, at least in this edition of the game or the last two.
