A space marine is an individual, serving the emperor to the best of their ability, doing what they think right. and a chaos devotee only believes in what their 'gods' want, nothing more. They are no more individuals than tyranids! They do as they're told, but we are space marines, we can freely think, we can make decisions and that is what makes us strong! Our feelings make us stronger. We believe in our emperor, whereas chaos worshippers are practically brainwashed so they know no other option! Caring for these feelings is caring for the emperor, his legacy and the hellsing crusaders!

I meant acting weirdly in general, not specificly dipping her feet in the pond. I didn't know it was eating, sleeping and dipping your feet in ponds being your survival instincts, the first two I may agree with to some extent, the third... Not so much.
Last time I saw a tau was when I was in my old company, slaughtering them for trespassing on Imperial grounds. Only 'presents' I got were the trophies I claimed.

I never said dipping feet in ponds was necessary for life and survival though did I? I said it shows you are chaos as much as eating or sleeping! If yo really need me to explain to you, I was comparing the three due to a lack of any significance any of them have towards being corrupted or not. And I only suggested tau because you're on about the greater good and all that! What about my other points you ignored? About being individuals? No comeback to them? What a shame!
