Got a 750 Point Planetstrike tourny coming up in a week and a half and struggling with my lists. Bearing in mind i've never played Planetstrike before here's what we have so far:

Attack

HQ -
Daemon Prince - Wings, MoN, Warptime
Daemon Prince - Warptime

Elite -
5 Terminators - 1 Chain fist, 1 Heavy Flamer

Fast attack -
4 Raptors + Champ with Pwr weapon and melta bombs

Heavy Support -
Predator - Twin Lasgun turret and Bolter sponsons

Total - 750

I'm no sure about my Raptors here, even dropping the melta bombs and pwr weapon on the champ lets me give the other Prince wings so he can deep strike and get stuck in on the same turn. Not sure what else i could swap them out for (would love some oblits in this list but i just dont have the models (yet)).

Defend

HQ -

Troops -
6 Plague Marines + Champ - 2 Plasmagun
6 Plague Marines + Champ - 1 Flamer
7 Plague Marines

Total - 748

Not really sure where i'm going here. I'm defending and thats what PM's do best, hold stuff back. Again i'd love some oblits here, maybe in place of the 3rd PM squad, who knows.

Aside from the fact that i just might have to go get 2 oblits this week has anyone got any other suggestions / pointers?

I would definitely "thumbs up" to a pair of Oblits. They are easily one of the strongest Units CSM have in their roster.

Taking plague champions without giving any real weapons for them...what are your chanpions for?

Champs are there for power weapons that i forgot to list, doh.

Looks alot better.

Still an attack force of poo. Just cant seem to get a nice balance.
