Hi everybody,

We are so excited about the new Tyranid Codex that just came out that I had to get working on new trays. We just launched 4 new Tyranid specific trays to handle Warriors, Gargoyles, Ravener Broods, and best of all the Mawloc and Trygon. These trays are super cool and have been test fit to get the most out of the foam.

We also added a 1520 pre loadout for the Nidz to help people fill their bags out in a snap.

I know what fantasy guys are saying, "what about our Battle Foam love". I plan on creating 25 new Warhammer trays and kits over the next 2 weeks.

We just added a super tray for the Skaven army. This new 6" baby can hold the 1 SCREAMING BELL 1 PLAGUE FURNACE 2 DOOMWHEELS, and has an extra spot for a larger model or spare bits.

Lastly the most exciting thing this month has to be our new staff member. Yes, we are growing leaps and bounds and we had to take on more staff.

We hired 5 Star General Baggy the Battle Foam New Official Mascot. He's a lean, mean, foam carrying machine. The General will be manning our troops around the warehouse to make sure orders get out faster and with even more attention to detail.

Look for this awesome new addition to the Battle Foam family to hit the tournament circuit really soon. Remember, if you see the General, he's probably got free stuff to give ya. Just don't get on his bad side or he'll make you drop down and give him 20.

Talk to you guys soon.

Nice, but I don't think your gargoyle tray is going to work. The box comes with 10 different wing sets. Some are swept forward and down, some are swept up and back. You'd really need to have 10 different slots for them.

Your mascot is....ummmm....cool? No, really.

Seriously, great job for truly showing how a group of folks can be innovative and start a business and have it thrive.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Arschbombe, actually they do all fit. I have 40 of those babies and I have built and test fitted all the wink poses. The cut out is universal. It is designed to fit all the versions regardless if the wings are forward, sideways, or pointing up. The height of the tray also takes this into account so no models stick up out of the foam even with their flight bases attached. Trust us, we don't go public with a tray unless all the models have been test fitted first.

Warboss, that is the point of The General. He's totally a bad 80's infomercial mascot. I mean after all, my videos look very similar to the shamwow guy right? Its all in fun.

Sarigar, thank you for the kind words. We could not do it without you guys. Everyone on Dakka is to thank for our success and cool products. We could not do it without you guys.

I hope you guys enjoy the new foam trays. Many new cool products coming in the next 60 days and its not just foam and bags. Stay tuned.

Talk to you guys later.

While I am already a happily satisfied Battlefoam customer and plan to buy more from you in the future... That Mascot totally impresses me and I love it. He is really really cool and I love that you guys went there.

Mascot is cool but I notice a lack of branding...logo wise that is. Does he have a logo on his back? Otherwise, he is just a random mascot that only looks like a PACK1520. To those that know about the product, it's not a problem but for thos that never heard of Battle Foam, they would not relate the brand name with the mascot IMO. Hope to see you guys with the General at ORCCON 2010!!!

Warlord Imp, yes you are correct. He has our logo and name on his back. I just figured you guys did not need to see all of that. I look forward to seeing you at orccon also.

Romeo,

Do you mind explaining the Trygon tray for us.

Yes Linkdead,

As you can see the tray is 6 inches tall and has two large cut outs on the left side with 5 small circle shapes in the middle and 3 odd shapes on the right side.

The 2 large cut outs fit 2 Mowloc, 2 Trygon, or 1 and 1 of each model. Those two cut outs allow for the model to slide in with its base going in first and having the model stand normally in the foam. This protects the spiky bits and gives room for the different poses of the talons.

The middle 5 cut outs are for Zoanthroaps. Since they moved up to a 1-3 choice and squads of as many as 3 we figured gamers would need more spots for these litte guys. 10-1 shot. amazing. oh ya, Lance weapon also. out of this world.

Lastly you have the 3 Carny spots on the right. Those are just like our other Carny spots and will fit all versions of those models.

I would have loved to post pictures with models inside the foam but GW is a pain in the you know what when it comes to their models being used to sell products.

Hope this helps.

Guys, I think we are on to something here.

Dryads, check.
Vampire stuff. check.

What else do you guys want to see from us. We just did the Skaven tray but what do you guys really want to see from our Warhammer side.

I'll be honest I have a crap load of fantasy models but I have not played in several months and have lost touch with what we all may need.

Give me some trays you guys want to see and I'll kick some butt for ya. Keep it general enough for multiple armies to use them but detailed enough to tailer to model types.

I'm open to any of your suggestions and I welcome the challenge.

I'll even put this out there. If we do a tray exactly how you suggested I'll send it to you for free to say thanks.

That's easy.

You can also use the custom tray creator on our site and post your idea on here. That way people can see what you came up with and maybe offer other suggestions.

I'm just kinda freeballin here but let me know guys.

If not you may get 25 trays that fit Dark Eldar only. Or maybe we do Tomb Kings. LOL

Thats a really neat Idea. Any battle foam trays for the vehicles? How about the valkrey fliers, tanks, and Stompa foam?

Great mascot, as well!!!

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

You do realize they have trays for nearly every vehicle, and the stompa is prob in the works for the large bag so it can hold several.

Guys,

Actually they fit both on or off. If you have the bases glued then your fine. The trays are 3" tall. If you don't have your bases glued then you'll just have extra space so you may be able to double stack them.

You guys can also check under the item description on the site and that should help answer most questions.

Hope that helps.
