It might be worth dropping one unit of hive guard and replacing them with 2 zoanthropes in a pod. Hits hard against any AV and takes pressure off your firebase, as well as providing more synapse up front if your warriors die.
my only fear is the loss of redundancy in dropping the 2nd hive guard unit.
Probably something that needs playtesting to see.

Warriors with deathspitters is probably the best way to go. They can hurt a lot of infantry just with the sheer number of attacks they throw out, and they aren't too bad at knocking out transports if they need to. They are also quite survivable against small arms fire though S8 will hurt them bad. Definately use the spodding gaunts to give them a cover save.

Ok, so lose the adrenal on the tyrant. He doesn't need it. And if my maths is correct you have 80 pts left after making the changes I suggested. You could even make the zoanthropes a brood of 3, or give the tyrant a 2+ save, or upgrade the gaunts to have devourers (3 shots each!!!), though you wouldn't have quite so many gaunts (18).
What else can I equip the tyrant with?
Hes basically going to sit in cover with the tervigon shooting at anything within range, maybe moving slowly towards a mid range objective.
Seems like a lot of points being wasted on a unit that just brings in my reserves more reliably.
Load him out with wings and
HTH upgrades and send him off to charge things before they get the charge in on the home base?

80 points....
Hmmmm, lets see how I can fit a unit of zoanthropes in
