I just need them to scout move, before shots are fired, to drop of the melta squads. After that, they just fire at infantry, etc. and make annoyingness of themselves.

Just so you know, Valkrie's are a Fast Attack and can't be taken as transports.
Agreed. I took them as
FA slots, but wanted to be clear which squads were mounted in them.

In a game I would personally swap the Command Platoon's Valk for the Infantry Platoons Chimera and put the 2 units of Veterans in the Valks, possibly see if you can swap Harker's unit's Flamers with Melta's as then you have 2 very fast moving units which will mangle tanks if they can get out and survive long enough to shoot.
The
CCS is acting like a second melta vet squad most of the time, issuing BID to themselves or the melta vets, as needed, and then charging in to finish things of with Straken.
Harker is infiltrating crowd control, totally different from the other vets. His rules really lend to getting the flamers in range.
The
PCS is going to sit in the Chimera and issue orders, and then jump out and counter charge if an infantry squad gets eaten in
CC. Don't expect them to win, just neutralize the assaulting squad for as long as possible.

So how about changing the Ratlings to Ogryns?
Honestly, the Ratlings were added to fill the final 40 points (the value of a single Ogryn), so I am happy to take them out if you can find a better place to spend 40 points.
