If you want to take hormagaunts, give them some upgrades. With basic S3 they can do little, but with toxin they would be different.

1st list looks ok but has some problems.

Hive tyrant is on its own and has no support, use gargoyles as bullet shields.

Warriors are good, but only in minimum squad and dishing out that fire power they can will make them a priority target. Get another unit for dual threat and redundancy.

Carnifex will get shot to pieces when it lands. You don't want a assault unit to deep strike and just sit there. Give it another setup, twin linked devourers are good especially if taken twice

You need two trygons really, one won't last long at all.

Second list is the same as the first but without termagants and hormagaunts but the same cost? Is something missing or have I mis-read?
