Well, if you use termagants as zombies with guns, just think DOOM. Termagants with fleshborers for pistol zombies, Termagants with spinefists for shotgun zombies, termagants with devourers for chaingun zombies.

The tervigon would be the summoner guy from DOOM, as he could rez guys around him. CC warriors would make decent pink horrors I imagine, Hive guard make good Hell Knights, a dakka fex would be a nice spidermind, and a Heavy Venom Cannon tyrant could step in for a cyberdaemon.

I think someones already done a doom 'nid army and posted it. I'll have to sanffle through the P&M blogs and try and find it.

You mean a nid army where alll the nids look undead but are still recognisably nids? Yup, sounds perfectly fluffy, they're either:
- dying from some mysterious space plague
- or foolish humans just think that - actually these nids have ultra-active metabolisms and constantly shed their skins as they regenerate between battles.

Not user how easy it would be to model though...
