Hello.
There's a new one in Maine called Huzzah! It will be on 30 April - 2
May at
the Holiday Inn West in South Portland, Maine.

One of the big events is The Sabis Project, a 25mm refight of the
Battle of the Sabis (the Sambre, for those who know it as such) between the Romans
and Germanic tribes 3000 figures FREEKIN AWESOME!

I was asked to host a FOW event due to the awesome tables and fun
times folks have at our events one of the sponsers is Ship yard beer
you need to get a kitchen pass for this one.and get your ass to this
show.lol

How big is this con? I'm taking it it's going to be a lot smaller than Historicon, but I'd like to have some idea how big it is. Considering I usually go 7 hours to get down to Lancaster for Historicon, this is actually close enough to be kind of convenient.

HUZZAH - Portland MAINE FOW event being planned -

Huzzah! is a historical wargaming convention scheduled for April 30th-May 2nd. The event will be hosted by the Holiday Inn Portland West, on Riverside Drive in Portland. The FOW tournament will be on Saturday, May 1st. Gordon is organizing the event and they are off to a big start. I know that he has at least the five players he mentioned earlier, but there has been a lot of discussion about it as well. I have no doubt that the tournament slots will fill quickly!

The rest of the convention will include a wide selection of games, as well as some special events, prizes, etc. If you hang out on The Miniatures Page you might have read some of the news posts about speakers, vendors and sponsors. Aside from the games, here are some of the events we have planned:
