I'm sorry but you're going to be hard pressed to sell some of that stuff at those prices. $50 for an AoBR dreadnought, even painted, is really steep. Unless it was painted by a professional, painted models usually sell for less than retail.

I agree, if those prices are US dollars you are out of your mind, The paint job is barley table top quality and will subtract from the value of the model, not add.

Also posting all that personal info is a really bad idea.

My prices are just a starting point, as mentioned. Please, feel free to PM me with better suggestions, more than 'you're out of your mind'. That is very unhelpful, and I have come to find that Dakka people ARE helpful.

As for my personal info, it is provided as part of being a reputable trader. I appreciate the concern!

I think I was being more than helpful. Posting all your personal info is a terrible idea.

Generally speaking, anything that's already been assembled and/or painted are usually priced approximately 50-60% of their market value. I know this may sound silly, but the less effort that is put into them, the more they are worth to most potential buyers.

Baring that in mind, you may want to consider cutting down your prices by close to half their FMV. I understand that it probably took you plenty of time to convert/magnetize/paint each of your models to your own standards, but unfortunately, most buyers won't get to appreciate that.

Hope that helps!

You are selling these at a very high price.
As its said before, posting your details like that for anyone to see is very very insecure.

i highly suggest you edit them out!

Now THAT's helpful. Many thanks, I shall update accordingly!

Swap Mod chiming in:

If you consider someone's prices to be on the high side, please do try to suggest a lowering of prices in a more polite fashion (ie, not "You're crazy" type of commentary). If the OP is hard set on his prices, you've always the option of ignoring the thread.

Secondly, as a recommendation to the OP, while you have every right to post your own information on the forums, it is generally considered a bad idea to do so, if only to protect your identity. Being a reputable trader does not necessitate simply doling out personal info.

To any other posters after this - if you feel like offering the OP suggestions on pricing, please do so over PMs - these discussions never really move forward when they come up in the Swap Shop.
