Logan goes with the Longfangs in a Drop pod, Njal Goes with the terms, the priest go with the missile longfangs and spam lightning. All the the longfangs get a Wolfguard with a cyclone launcher.

The basic Idea is to have the pods scare them into deploying all in reserve, forcing them to trickle in while the Priests and longfangs punish anything on the board. The wolfguard in Razorbacks are on guard duty and last minute objective capturing.

I wouldn't be harmed to much by cutting the speeder and the dread if anyone has a good Idea for a replacement. Same goes for the venerable, but I would have to get something else to put in a pod.

Any thoughts?

Drop the dead with dbl auto cannon for another troop section. I would also drop some of the upgrades to attach to the long fangs. Missle launcher at not that big of a deal and I would have np setting my army up against them. Personally mutli meltas and lascannon would give me more issues.

Your two razor backs are going to draw some heavy fire so try to keep them in reserves if you can. That is unless you have some good terrain to net that save.

As it is on turn one, your looking at one speeder and two razor backs drawing every heavy and mid level AT weapon from the other army. That to me sounds like a change of list in order to keep these units and or maybe DS the speeder.

So I added another squad in a razorback, and dropped the Dread and Speeder.

I think you are forgetting about the 2 pods that will drop on turn 1. So on the board turn 1 will be 3 Razorback, 2 Drop pods, 1 Dread, 3 longfang squads and logan.

Any other suggestions?

*edit* Oh yea I have 8 points left over after the change, were do you think I should put them?

I think 700pts in characters is far to many even at this point value. I have a 2k sw army that actually has more power and ability than your 2.5k.

Couple things:
-3 psyker's aren't neccessary but if you want lots of powers drop njal and make both of those priests able to cast 2 (200 pts. ish saved)
-switch out all the wg packs w/normal gh. saves you 20pts per squad not counting the mssile termies.
-if you remove all of the above filler points you can add a lot of bodies and combat power to your list.

@hulk

I think those are some really good suggestions. But I have a soft spot for Njal since he represents sarpedon (souldrinkers) So well. I would be more inclined to drop Logan, a priest, and change the 3 squads to Grey hunters.

What do you think of that? Any ideas were I should put the 500+ points saved?
