This is my super-duper uber mechanized space marine list. I have 21 high strength shots at 48" range and an extra nine at 12". I should be able to pop a significant portion of an opponent's mech forces on turn one and be able to finish them off on turn two. My local metagame is starting to gear towards mech and I'm trying to stay ahead of the curve. There's a lot of tank-spamming IG as well as mechanized orks and mechanized space marines. There's also a significant tyranid presence.

As for infantry, I can also spit out 12 S6 blast templates and the grey hunters have flamers. Then theres the Rune Priest which typically takes Living Lightning and Jaws of the World Wolf. Then there's the fact that I'm playing with Space Wolves and can generate a billion attacks on the charge.

As for the Wolf Guard I was thinking that I'd split them off to babysit grey hunters and long fangs.

Thoughts/comments appreciated.

really? i'm kinda sad now as i don't really read dakka a whole lot and I'm only familiar with ytth in passing.

Very nice idea. Only problem is 28 KPs may make you losing the game after crushing your opponent.

I must really be blind because I can't see any of your 12 S6 Blast Templates :/ (unless you mean your 12 S4 AP6 Missile blasts ofc) O.o
