If you are going for a ghoul army I would think ghoulkin would be on a single character.

It's a small army with lots of potential to grow very quickly on the field.

4 dispel scrolls are almost never needed, unless you are facing another magic heavy VC army. Spend the points on better items, black periapt perhaps.

am i limited on black periapts? or can i put em on as many characters as id like?

You can only take one. One small piece of advice would be to take the book of Arkhan. It's an easy way of getting Vanhel's danse off.

Alright so.. drop the 2 dispell scrolls on one of the vamps.. give him black periapt and book of arkhan.

I give my vampire lord the ethereal upgrade and put him in a unit of wraiths.
