I'm a big fan of simple green for stripping plastic models, but my jug is just about out. I've read elsewhere that purple power and super clean are two other farily safe (though probably not as non-toxic as the green) chemicals for stripping. At the auto parts store today I saw that all three are available relatively cheaply in large jugs of concentrate.

I've been a simple green fan for a couple years with no complaints, but I'm willing to change if the other products will produce better results. Anyone ever compared these products before?

I use Superclean, its biodegradable, has a citrus scent(better than the icky mint thing simple green has goin) and strips paint better in my experience.

No experience with Purple Power, maybe I'll try it once my current bucket of Superclean evaporates
