What do you all think?

Kommando Tank-Hunters:

4 Kommandos + 2 Rokkit Launchas
1 Nob + Shoota/Rokkit

85 Points = Infiltrate/Outflank 3 Rokkits? Tank Stoppers or what?
I know they won't hang around long but whatever is shooting at them isn't shooting at my Trukks, right? Put them in a building and it may actually take a bit to kill them.

occupy a precious Elite slot.

Your enemies got an easy KP.

If you want some "decoy" unit, you may try big guns. Only 23 pts each, with a rocket profile attack which have a 75% chance to hit.

Kommandos do make great tank hunters, but not as you've got them kitted out.

Run a max sized squad with Burnas and Snikkrot. Coming in on the back table edge with a 13" to 18" threat range (move, run, charge), you can get to most tanks. Snikkrot is S6 on the charge, gets to re-roll misses (I think) and hit back armor with a whole passle of attacks.

They also have the versatility to hit most any "back-line" unit and eat it (use the Burnas as Power Weapons against an armored foe).

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Yep, my kommandos often do more tank killing than infantry killing. Snikrot makes sure they can come in at a place where they're useful and strength 6 with 6 attacks and rerolling all failed to hit rolls makes him excellent at taking out vehicles with rear armor 10, even if they moved 6", and he still has a decent chance of doing something if they moved 12" or more.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

If only he could bring a PK nob or tankbusta bombs with him...

Still, he does rip AV10 fairly well.

If you want a tiny anti-tank unit, I would rather go with:

5 tankbustas, 1-2 tankhammer, 3x bomb squig
- borrowed trukk, plank, ram
135pts

This unit can kill LR's too, and it has 3x BS 5 rokkits for some almost guarantied hits. Probably a "fun-only" unit, but I want to try it out when I start my orks
