Not sure if this is the right forum, seemed like the best place to put it.

I'm in search of some good, cheap chain-link fence for my 40k board. I found this
http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=719

But I would need a good 20-30 pounds to get enough.

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative that looks decent?

You in the US?

You probably don't want to get stuff from the UK. . .

you could try a car repair shop / panel beater for some of this.

Just use cut lengths of sprue (which I'm sure you have or can get... who doesn't?) and some cut pieces of bug screen and you can make literally as much as you want for pennies on the dollar.

Screen door repair mesh comes in large rolls (or smaller repair kits) from most any hardware store. It's made out of nylon, so it's easy to cut. Just cut it on the diagonal for that chain-link look and your g2g.

wait wait wait wait... huh..?

If you're looking for chain link mesh, then visit your local michaels. They have this mesh stuff for sculpting faces and other such things that is A really easy to work with and B pretty cheap, like $3 for about 5.5x18(?) inches.

Poultry Fence (a little big, about 1/2" squares, but CHEAP) and makes good ladders as well...

The wire one covered in green plactic verses just plastic.

I got some at Osh, but Lowes and Home Depot should carry it as well.
