Finished modelling my Deathwatch Cmd team. Not content with all the results the Sgt Cantor with the Powerfist looks a little camp with the Plasma pistol in his right hand i might cut it off and start again.

The other boys are just standard DW with Combi Weapons or a DW Medic. Work is ongoing on my DW Tech Marine, a Chaplain and a DW Captain.

I have a further 30 models to do in my Death Watch Strike Force, (Yes i know its not legal but its fun) and i'm looking forward to taking on as many 'nids as i can in an all out 35 DW vs a hive fleet, i'm aiming for a 10+ Kill count per man and have a Legendary Battle where they have to evacuate (read CS GOTO Warrior Brood !!!)

Plus, Anyone with lots of unwanted DEATHWATCH bits please PM me as i will pay good money for DW pieces.

And you can field 30 of them, possibly with Pedro to make them scoring and with an attached Librarian too, for some Gate of Infinity goodness?

I have to say i do have a bit of a thing for PEDRO. The Crimson fists are pretty nails, and add in that they don't have the strength to fight as a chapter it would make sense they would send as many Marines as possible to the DEATHWATCH..

The scythe looks a little too tall IMO.
Also, you could do a counts as Pedro rather than the real McCoy.

Sorry the Scythe isn't a Scythe.....WTF your all thinking. Well there will be another Claw on the opposite side and i will pin the banner to the ends of the Talons so it is more a Xeno Banner top. Will post a new pic when i finish it.
Plus it is actually probably a truer standard in the Roman Sense, like the Roman SPQR Imperial Eagle a proper standard rather than a Colour or Banner. However my DW Captain might look extremely cool with a Scythe based weapon (Read C.S. GOTO books to see where i got inspiration).

I am also working on a KILL TEAM called "The Ancients" lots of Old Style Armour Horus Heresy stuff, mk5 mk6 Corvus, studded Pauldrons with DW Pauldrons to represent those with no ties to any Chapter any more. The Disgraced, forgotten, maybe a member of the SW 13th Company left behind, the Last Astral Claw, a Mantis Warrior and Two survivors from the flight of the Eisenstein?

I got annoyed that GW don't do a PLASTIC Chaplain, so i have order the following off BITZ BARN.



This should allow me to make the Skull face and with my Cmd Sprue spares i should make a pretty decent chaplain (With a Deathwatch Pauldron of course , maybe a Scythes of the Emperor Model) with lots of little detail and a oversize Tyranid bashing Crozius Arcanium.

Also my ORDOS XENO's Inquisitor is taking shape too, he is a Green stuff Enhanced Termie and is about 6mm Taller than a normal termie. (I fleshed out the Inquisitor body to match the Inquisitor Termie Pauldrons). He looks a little stupid, with a tiny Pea like head so i'm looking for a Larger Head to keep the thing looking good...

Looking good so far.

On the Chaplain, if you're going with that head, I would recommend sculpting a grill over the 'mouth'... he looks a little smiley for a Chaplain as is.

Yeah, I think I might have to fill it with Green stuff and smooth it over. Good call though.

My DW Devastator squad starting to look good, should be a "Howling Griffon" a "Praetor of Orpheus" and a "NovaMarine". Aim to have another HB and a Veteran Sgt DARK ANGEL "Currently on my desk being filled down ready for final glueing.



My Space Wolf "Logan" i like this guy, he looks savage and ready for a scrap, which is pretty lucky as in the 41st Millenium because they happen 10 a penny!



Possibly my favourite model after Sgt Atticus, Kazar the White Scar..Looks ferocious and kick ass.

Bought two AOBR Dreads, have magentized them and have a FW INQUISITION Brass etchings en route. Will make two kick ass Dreads with multiple arms (Hurricane Bolter will look the dogs 'nads on a DW Dread!)



Not really sure if the Death Watch would have a CHAMPION ? Your thoughts on a Post please...
