This is the first warbike I've ever made/painted. It's my 10th model to paint in all and I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of it. I took some of the scrap foam I've been using for terrain and cut it to look like a rock ramp of a sort. Then spray painted it to make it a bit rougher looking, then painted it gray. This only took me about 1 day (5-6hours) to paint from start to finish. And I did learn next time paint the bike before adding the Boy he was so hard to paint.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated as I still have 2 more bikes to paint.

Very good looking for being a 10th model you have ever painted! That is more like my standard and I have painted for 3 years!
The only thing I would do is add maybe even more depth to the skin. It may only be the pictures, but the skin doesn't look as good as the rest of the model. Still VERY OK though.
Otherwise very good painting.

Win/Draw/Lost statics
Space Orks: 11/1/1
Space Marines: 10/2/5
Lizardmen: 8/2/3
High Elves: 13/2/2 and one tournament victory!
Dark Eldar: 1/0/0

Very well done, just two things;

Pet peeve of mine. The ork's dakkagun got no barrel holes to shoot out of! D= At this stage, drilling it would be difficult so just even painting a black hole for the gunbarrel would add alot.

I also agree on what nyyman said about the ork skin. Needs a bit more depth, which can easily be achieved through a wash (thraka green or devlan mud, if you want my opinion).

In all, great work, and the rocky ramp is awesome. I may have to steal that idea for my warbikers

I think the painting could use some work (highlighting, shadows [with a wash], different tones for different parts of the metal), but I LOVE the model itself.

I think the fact that he said its only his 10th mini, Id say that explains why he isnt winning golden demons yet.

You can tell your starting to get the hang of it all. Everything really looks good where its at, aside from a wash and highlights your comming along man.

Thanks for the tips, I did use the thraka green on the skin, but I might try adding some mud to it and see how it goes. And for the next two I made the orks but didn't glue them down to the bike yet so I can paint them a little easier this time. I'll post up the other 2 bikes later I wanna touch em up so maybe tomorrow.

And Woot!! The Saints won.
