I myself play an Iron Hands successor Chapter. This list seems somewhat "Iron-Handy" in that it is generally shooting-oriented and incorporates a Razorback, which is quite fluffy for Iron Hands. However, it also seems fairly bland. I like Commander Endova's advice-- I might take something like:
Master of the Forge with bolter, thunder hammer, and servo-harness- 130
Tactical Squad with lascannon and flamer- 180
Razorback- 40
Tactical Squad with lascannon and flamer- 180
Razorback- 40
Tactical Squad with lascannon and flamer- 180
Razorback- 40
Dreadnought- 105
Dreadnought- 105
The Tactical Squads split into Combat Squads-- one squad takes the lascannon and provides support fire from the backfield, as well as claiming backfield objectives, while the other uses the Razorback to move up and attack the enemy. Your Master of the Forge can ride with one of the Combat Squads and repair any of your vehicles that get damaged, as well as provide assault support in a pinch.
As for the models, the Iron Hands are partially plastic and partially metal. An Iron Hands boxed set comes with all the plastic components to make a Tactical Squad, plus two metal bionic leg bits, one metal torso, metal shoulder pads with Iron Hands insignia, two metal bionic arms holding/integrated with bolters, two bionic "support arms," 3 or 4 metal heads with bionic enhancements, and a metal thunder hammer arm. Technically speaking, this means you can make 11 Marines out of an Iron Hands set if necessary.
