Buzzard's Knob

I was perusing the rules for the various special characters, which I've not used much when I came across the rules for Mad Dok Grotsnik, particularly the one that allows him to give ANY unit Cybork bodies. I just had to try this for myself, so I created a tooled-up list of Orks that might not outnumber the enemy as much as Orks are wont to do, but they're sure not going to be slaughtered as easily as Orks can be either.

HQ

Mad Dok Grotsnik (160)

Big Mek Ironkrank, Kustom Force Field, 'eavy armor, cybork body, attack squig (115)

ELITES

9 Nobz, powerklaws, twin-linked shootas 'eavy armor, cybork bodies, painboy, waaagh! banna. (580)

TROOPS

Four identical units of 12 Ork Slugga Boyz, cybork bodies, big shoota. The Nob as a powerklaw and a bosspole.
Each unit also has a trukk with reinforce ram, red paint job, grot riggers, armor plates, stikkbomb chukka. (237x4= 948)

HEAVY SUPPORT

Battlewagon, kannon, 2 big shootas, deff rolla, 'ard case, grot riggers, armor plates and stikkbomb chukkas. (195)

This list could drive the pitiful enemy before them, or be doomed by bad dice rolling. We will see tomorrow...

Interesting.....

Make sure all the nobz have different wargear so you can play with the wound allocation system.

On the trukks I would drop the armour plates and grot riggers. Stikk bombs could be useful but I wouldn't say essential. Also drop the ram if you don't play with a lot of terrain.

Your wagon I presume is for hte nobz, if so this can be taken as dedicated transport but no killkannon. I wouldn't take a killkannon if your putting nobz in it because it can only move 6" a turn, your nobz should be in combat. If the transport isn't for the nobz then they need one a.s.a.p! Drop ard case because the nobz cannot assault out of it.
