So i was thinking... what would happen if you use two KFF's with a pincer like attack? BW+2 trukks x 2 =...... epic victory or total disaster?

As you can probably see, all I really miss hear might be some extra Anti tank along with the Power Claws, or just some big heavy hitter, Kommandos are there to distract if needed.

It's not like i can test this list anytime soon, but I wanted to know if anyones ever attempted something like this before and/or its a good/bad idea?

HQ

Big Mek 105 points
KFF
Burna

I think 30 burnas is WAAAAAAAY overkill, and you are spending too many points on killing infantry.
Kommandos, Burnas and Trukk boyz... all of these are really bad vs vehicles. I would replace 15 burnas and the kommandos with 2x15 Lootas, add some Boyz to the second BW (probably need to ditch a trukk mob for that).

I assume RR means Reinforced ram (only asking because for the BWs you wrote out Reinforced Ram but for the trukks you just put RR).

I'm not so sure that having to spend a second HQ just so you can split your army in 2 parts is great - anytime you end up wanting to keep it all together, that's 100 points wasted, isn't it?

Many people think Trukk Boyz in general are pretty poor (trukks are fragile, and orks that aren't fearless tend to run away), so that's something to consider. If you are going to take them I think you need boarding planks, to avoid having to disembark just to hit tanks (which will then blow up and kill your boyz).

Other than that, it looks like Dash's old list but without Ghaz, and with less units. Look at his recent threads and you'll see why that isn't ideal - a lot of the advice and lessons posted to or by him there should apply to you as well:

i like your list, while you do have ALOT of anti-infantry, i would agree that dropping one of the burna squads would be better, add ghaz drop a truck, beef that squad up to ride with ghaz in a wagon. try to find away to add boarding planks to your wagon/trucks

dont drop snikkrot hes amazing, in my experiences at least

If you expect to play against any mech lists you're going to lose the game before you start playing because you have ZERO ranged anti-tank.

Go look at the codex and figure out options there and re-post a a balanced list and then I'll comment again.

You could probably kut the one Big Mek (you only really need 1, as you can mass all your vehikles togtether) and then use those points to add a ton of rokkit launchas as well as some wrecking balls for the trukks. That gives you help to thin out armor under AV14 with some degree of success. Ramming with Trukks could also help clump infantry together to let the Bruna Boyz go to werk. Hur hur hur hur. I like that alot.

As weird as it is, Ork Trukks with Rams can only tankshock, not ram

I think they can. Sentence top of page 69 "Ramming is a special type of tank shock move [...]" Implies that they can. I'd anyhow say it's a pretty easily argued case of RaI :-)
I think they will use their original front armor of 10 though.

Let's put it another way, the way the rules work out for tank shock and ramming when abilities are added onto non-tanks can be debated forever. Just get the troops clumped and krump them with burnas.
