If you read the fluff in both rule books, it is possible that the whfb world is in the 40k universe. There is slanesh,..orcs from a meteoroid, the old one being lazy and making races do their crap for them, think about it.

They used to be, but currently GW has decided that they are not part of the same universe.
There are some older threads on this, some dude brought up one of the black library fantasy novels mentioned an Empire wizard having a vision of the end of the world, in which he describes beings that sound very much like chaos terminators, showing up and shooting everyone dead.

Feasibly yes it COULD, but officially GW has changed their mind and said no it isn't. However I maintain I want to see Skaven in 40k. I love the little rats but $'s tight atm and I have to stick with the VC my friend gave me, whom I also love dearly but I think space rats would be awesome

They said it was then changed their mind. But, I still say that the WHFB world is in the WH40K universe. IIRC it's somewhere either on the rim of the Eye of Terror or hidden somewhere in the Eye of Terror.
Currently I'm thinking of making an Inquisition army for WHFB, as if an Inquisitor had landed on the world as they have Chaos worship and don't quite follow the right Emperor.

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.
