One of the Marines organs allows him to endure extreme temperatures & vacuum. What is the limit of "extreme"? Should a flamer/heavy flamer even effect an average marine? The waxy substance that is secreted on their skin alone, allows for the endurance of temperatures. This is not counting his power armour on top of that.

Flamers produce promethium (which isn't actually flammable, or it's not controllable.)

It uses chemical flames, not heat flames, so nothing would become of it or his ability.
